MEDIA-Russia's Mail.ru Group is talks with Vezyot taxi service over a stake - RBC

* Russian internet company Mail.ru Group is in talks to buy a stake in the taxi service Vezyot, RBC daily reported on Tuesday, citing several sources;

* The deal could be worth "couple of dozen million dollars for a non-controlling stake in the company," a source, familiar with the talks, said. Mail.Ru Group would be interested in increasing its stake in Vezyot to over 50 percent in the future;

* Vezyot was also in talks with Avtovaz and Vimpelcom ;

* Mail.ru said it would be interested in expanding in the new markets, including taxi. Partner of UFG Private Equity, which owns a stake in Vezyot, Arthur Akopyan, confirmed his fund was in talks of attracting an investor to Vezyot;

* According to a report by Credit Suisse (IOB: 0QP5.IL - news) , Vezyot's stake of the Russian taxi market is forecast at 12 percent by the end-2017 and 7-10 percent of the domestic online taxi market;
