MEDIA-Strabag to build Slovak plant for Jaguar Land Rover-Hospodarske Noviny

BRATISLAVA, Jan 7 (Reuters) -

** German construction firm Strabag (Other OTC: STAGF - news) will build new car plant for Jaguar Land Rover in Slovakia, daily Hospodarske Noviny reports

** Economy Ministry unit MH Invest picked Strabag over three competitors

** Construction works in the strategic park near Nitra, western Slovakia, will cost 123 million euros ($132.53 million)

** Jaguar Land Rover said last year it would invest 1.4 billion euros to build a plant in Slovakia that would employ 3,000 people and make 150,000 cars a year
