Meet Kiramoon, the ultra-cute and clean skincare brand soon to take over your vanity

Where Gen Z skincare is concerned, appearance and “Instagrammability” are important, but so are ingredients and corporate responsibility. The very new and very cute Kiramoon Beauty encompasses all three -- and it’s only just landed on Jan. 15.

The brand is the brainchild of former Lucky editor Lindsey Martin. Kiramoon came out of a desire to infuse joy with self-care during the parts of life that sometimes feel mundane. While also maintaining her day job as an Austin-based software executive, Martin’s built the adorable brand for two years. On top of that, the brand has been gaining a cult following on TikTok (18K) and Instagram (7K) as Martin has grounded the Kiramooon social pages around creating the brand.

Starting with two (fragrance-free) products, the brand introduces its Star Jelly Magic Resurfacing Facial ($45) and the Flowermelon Super Hydra Serum ($36). Don’t let the small lineup and pink packaging fool you, though. Both Kiramoon products have several skincare benefits.

Star Jelly is a wash-off mask treatment that features soothing and brightening ingredients like niacinamide and cactus flower extract. Flowermelon, on the other hand, is a leave-on serum that soothes, plumps and hydrates. With skin-loving ingredients like sodium hyaluronate, a derivative of hyaluronic acid, melon fruit extract and banana flower extract, it makes for a gentle addition to your skincare staples.

In addition to making products that bring us joy, Kiramoon is partnering with the non-profit Bring Change to Mind, an organization opening up the space to discuss mental health. Plus, a portion of proceeds from Kiramoon products will be donated to the organization indefinitely.
