The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing to spend their first Christmas in the USA as a family with Archie, and now Thanksgiving is over they're reportedly focusing on making their home a winter wonderland for the holidays.

The couple, who reportedly had "a quiet dinner at home" using vegetables from their garden for Thanksgiving this week, will be staying in the States this Christmas. That's partly down to the pandemic, but sources also previously told The Mirror (via the Daily Mail) that Harry and Meghan would be at home. They said:

“Meghan very much wants to host the first Christmas at their new home with her mum. She’s really excited and planning on doing all the traditions she grew up with as a child, including the cooking."

So while they have a lovely family Christmas to look forward to, in the meantime they're very much getting into the spirit of things by putting the Christmas decorations up. A source told People that: "As a family, they spend hours outside," but they're planning on getting cosy at home and are: "excited to decorate for Christmas".

Of course, lockdown rules here in the UK mean that they probably couldn't have spent it with the Queen even if they'd been planning to. Instead, Her Majesty will mix with just two other households - although it hasn't yet been confirmed who she will choose.

At least there's always Zoom, eh?
