Meghan Markle opens up about her exciting plans for Archie and Lili's futures

Since welcoming their first child, Archie, back in May 2019 and their second, Lilibet in June 2021, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been keen to keep their kids out of the public eye.

Apart from a few comments here and there about what their children are getting up to, not much is known about the Royal youngsters, who are now growing up on the other side of the Atlantic.

However, during the tail end of this year's Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany - the sporting event Harry created in 2014 for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women - Meg accidentally let slip some of her future plans for Archie and Lili. Which also coincided with the (potential) news that the siblings could be making their official public debut at the next Invictus Games.

FYI, these are set to be held in 2025 in Vancouver and Whistler in Canada, and will also be the first-ever Winter/Summer hybrid Games. To Meghan, the location and the sporting activities offered are reportedly the perfect place for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to learn how to ski. Um, cute!

"Meghan said that she really wanted her children to learn to ski and that maybe Whistler was the ideal place," Bridget Bridge, the wife of an Invictus Games 25 board member revealed to The Mirror.

Despite Meghan admitting that she's never skied, it's clear how important it is for her children to follow in the footsteps of their father and their late grandmother, Princess Diana. Back when Harry was young, he was often pictured on skiing holidays with his mother and brother, Prince William, and has publically expressed his love of snow sports in the past.

But as well as hitting the slopes, there's probably another good reason why Archie and Lili are set to make an appearance at their dad's Invictus Games. According to Harry, Archie, in particular, already loves the Games, after he revealed last year that he's started teaching his son about the event.

"I showed Archie a video of wheelchair basketball and rugby from the Invictus Games in Sydney, and he absolutely loved it," the Duke gushed.

He also added that he "can't wait" to bring their kids along to watch the competition.

So basically, watch this space. Because it's about to become a real family affair...
