Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s long-awaited interview with Oprah Winfrey hasn’t even aired yet and it’s already caused quite the stir.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to speak out about their rocky experience as a couple in the royal spotlight sparked drama from behind palace walls when clips from their chat with Oprah came out last week.

A report claiming Meghan had been the subject of a bullying complaint back in 2018 came to light in The Times, with Kensington Palace staff allegedly filing a report about her treatment of staff when she and Harry were newlyweds.

Meghan’s representatives came forward with a statement countering the accusations, saying she feels "saddened" by the attack.

Buckingham Palace took the next step, confirming they have plans to investigate the claims, insisting they don’t "tolerate bullying or harassment in the workplace".

Obviously, the contrast between the way Meghan’s denied bullying accusations are being handled and the way Prince Andrew’s denied sexual assault allegations have been dealt with by the palace just isn’t sitting right with some people.

And now lots of people close to Meghan have come out in support of her, including some of her former Suits co-stars.

Meghan played Rachel Zane on the US legal drama for seven years, so needless to say her cast-mates have a pretty good grasp of her character.

Abigail Spencer, who played Dana Scott on the show, took to Instagram to pen a lengthy caption about her friendship with Meghan, speaking of her "generous professionalism and friendship".

Sharing sweet details of their bond, Abigail went on to detail her favourite Meghan traits and revealing how she’d been there for her when her dad passed away.

"I've learned so much from Meg. The power of a handwritten note. The loveliness of surprise flowers. That she has a perpetual rolodex in her brain of recommendations for the heart, soul, & body.

"When I'm headed to a new town, there’s a hotel or dinner reservation at the ready, as well as a connection with one of her friends to show me around so I feel less alone. She's been there for me - and physically held me - in my darkest hours."

Patrick J. Adams, who played Meghan’s on-screen lover, also shared a statement of his own in the form of a series of passionate tweets.

"Meghan Markle and I spent the better part of a decade working together on Suits. From day one she was an enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive member of our television family. She remained that person and colleague as fame, prestige and power accrued," he wrote.

Patrick added that he was sickened to read "the endless racist, slanderous, click baiting vitriol spewed in her direction” from the media.
