Meghan McCain tweets message to 'fellow conservative girls' after 'The View' blowup
Meghan McCain isn't one to back down, and she's proving that again amid the latest blowup with one of her "The View" co-hosts.
The conservative pundit made headlines on Monday after getting into it with Whoopi Goldberg in a war of words that ended with Goldberg shutting McCain down.
"Girl, please stop talking! Please stop talking right now," Goldberg said to McCain.
"I won't talk the rest of the show," McCain responded. "No problem."

The exchange continued back-and-forth a bit more before Goldberg abruptly ended it by cutting to commercial. As the tense debate started to go viral on social media following Monday's episode, McCain took to Twitter to seemingly add to her side of the feud.
"Dems and Rs alike need to confront the ugly truth: both parties are failing to be impartial jurors. I won’t be quiet, even if the reality reflects poorly on the entire political establishment. I have a responsibility to speak for the 50% that feels media doesn’t represent them," she tweeted. "Pointing out things that are true is part of my job even if it angers people and even if it’s politically inconvenient."
"Pretending half the country doesn't exist won't make them disappear," McCain went on. "The culture war is real, and Americans who aren't part of the overwhelmingly anti-conservative media deserve to have their views represented."
By Tuesday morning, the daughter of the late Sen. John McCain continued to stand her ground, sharing a message to her "fellow conservative 'girls,'" seemingly alluding to Goldberg's, "Girl, please stop talking," comment.
"Good morning," McCain tweeted on Tuesday at 8 a.m. along with a "Game of Thrones" gif. "To all the fellow conservative 'girls' who won’t be quiet."

Of course, people on Twitter were quick to reply to McCain's tweet, saying, "as usual, completely missed the point."
"You just don't have the elegance of your father in speaking with people," someone else said. "I know you're fighting an uphill battle on 'The View,' but you're not doing a good job. I recommend you quit or take time off to rethink your approach."
Meghan McCain is expected to appear alongside Whoopi Goldberg on Tuesday's episode of "The View."
