Yahoo Finance Michelle Keegan's new highlights are a sunkissed dream
If 12th April came and went without your own personal hair transformation (disorganised people, I see you and I am with you) - it might be worth looking away now. After all, Michelle Keegan's latest hair revamp is extremely envy-inducing (albeit totally lush).
Our Mich has dabbled in a few different looks over the past year, from a bouncy Bardot style fringe to subtle halo highlights and honey blonde tones.
But her latest look is a thing of summery wonder: bouncy brunette curls with caramel pieces adding tonnes of texture and shine.
She posted a shot to her grid over the bank holiday, sharing not only the look, but also her disgruntled feelings about the chaotic weather cycle the long weekend brought, captioning the shot: "This was the most confusing bank holiday weekend ever! ☀️🌧❄️💨🌪🌦☃️". In the shot Michelle's sporting sunnies and denim shorts in a look that leaves us desperate for Aperol Spritz weather again...
Then, this week she followed up with a full length picture advertising a jacket from her latest Very collection, which also happened to show off her glossy new highlights.
She paired the look with a pretty nudey-orange lip colour, glowing bronzed skin, gently smoked-out lids and what looks like lashings of highlighter (or perhaps just that golden hour selfie effect...)
Not to bring up the unspeakable (AKA hairdressers being forced to close again at some point), but it's also a very clever look in terms of maintenance - the highlights are buried a little deeper in Michelle's hair, meaning if they grow out without regular retouching, it won't be the end of the world.
All in all, a 10/10 post-lockdown look. I'm screengrabbing it for my own hairdresser as we speak.
