Mila Kunis recently opened up about a big argument she and her husband Ashton Kutcher had after one of their daughter's was picked on at school. The Black Swan actor revealed that the pair completely disagreed over the issue and that he was actually quite shocked by her advice to their daughter.
We're all pretty obsessed with Mila and Ashton. From their (somewhat divisive) interior decor to their adorable and rare appearances on each other's social media accounts. And one thing we've always loved about them is their candour, and this latest interview is no exception.
Speaking on Ellen Degeneres's web series Mom Confessions Mila recalled a time when she and Ashton completely disagreed over the advice to give her daughter who had been picked on at school.
"Well, here's a story that's about to get me in trouble," she began. "There was a little kid in my kid's preschool that wasn't very kind and pushed my daughter ... My daughter came back and was like, 'Such and such little kiddo pushed me,' and I instinctually said, 'Did you push her back?' And my daughter's like, 'No!'"
Mila then explained that she told her daughter, "You push her back, and you say, 'No, thank you,' and you walk away."
However, Ashton was in the room at the time and Mila explained that while she was talking she turned around to say him reacting, "I turned around, and I see Ashton's face, and he was like, 'No!'" she explained, mimicking him shaking his head pretty decisively.
But, Mila continued regardless, "You stand up for yourself, and you say 'No thank you.' ... Don't push her off of a ladder, off of a swing, or off of a slide, but on the ground - even Stevens - you push her back."
However, Mila ended the story by saying that she now sees the whole thing as a bit of a "parenting fail" so who knows if she'd give the same advice again. Guess it's a bit late now, isn't it...
