Mo Farah wins the Djibouti International Half Marathon
Sir Mo Farah won the inaugural Djibouti International Half Marathon.
He won with a time of 63:07.
Mo Farah has got his Tokyo Olympic year off to a strong start, winning the Djibouti International Half Marathon with a time of 63:07.
Following a training block in Ethiopia, Farah, aged-37, raced for the first time since winning the Antrim Coast Half Marathon six months ago.
Farah has said in previous interviews his main focus this year is defending his 10,000-metre title at the rescheduled Tokyo Olympic games this summer.
Taking to social media after the race, Farah wrote, 'YeeeeeeZzzz!! Good win..!! Amazing support from Djibouti 🇩🇯 people..!! 🙏🏿 Thank...!!'
Farah won by four seconds, with his training partner Bashir Abdi as his main competition.
