Mom has brilliant hack for toddlers who suddenly decide they don’t like their vitamin gummies

One mom shared her secret trick for getting her son to take his vitamins, and TikTok is applauding the sneaky hack.

Kayleigh Allery is the founder of Abel’s Workshop, a line of sustainable, ethically made children’s toys and baby gifts. Allery typically uses her TikTok to promote the line, but she decided to mix her content up in one video. The mom posted one of her “toddler hacks.”

“Does anyone else have to do this?” Allery asked in the caption. “When your toddler suddenly decides he ‘doesn’t like’ his vitamins.”

The mom then opened up a pack of Mott’s Assorted Fruit Snacks and poured the gummies onto a plate. Next, she tossed in two Flintstones Gummy Vitamins. The colorful gummies all looked the same, so her son would be none the wiser.

When a baffled person in the comments asked why he didn’t like Flintstones Gummy Vitamins, Allery clarified.

Summer fashion finds at Nordstrom all under $50:

“He likes them. He just doesn’t like feeling like he has to do anything,” the mom replied. “My son was obsessed, but I think now that he realizes I want him to [eat] them, he feels like he has to and doesn’t want to.”

People thought her idea was genius and also that Flinstones gummies are pretty tasty.

“This is brilliant,” one person wrote.

“If your child doesn’t want them, I’ll take them. They’re so good,” another commented.

“Oh my god, so smart,” someone added.
