Kids and young adults have been going viral on TikTok for dancing around for years now. Now, it's the lip-syncing moms' time to shine.

During a parents’ weekend at their university in Illinois, Mia Gillespie and her friends decided to record their moms lip-syncing to "Potential Breakup Song" by Aly and AJ. The rest is history.

"Moms weekend gone wild," she wrote in her caption.

In the video, five moms put their heart and soul into the lip sync. There's something so infectious about the sheer force of personality exuded in the video. It caught fire and now has more than 7.5 million likes and countless parodies and spinoffs.

Gillespie told BuzzFeed she was only expecting a couple thousand views.

"I love seeing how nice everyone is about our parents in the comments, because it makes our moms feel so good," she said.

Gillespie and her friends did a side-by-side comparison video with their moms, which also went viral and garnered even more likes than the original with 7.8 million.

TikTok users then began trying to guess things about the Potential Breakup Moms — from what cars they drive to what their kitchens look like.

Thank goodness it's Halloween costume season, too.

Commenters had nothing but nice things to say about the moms.

"All of the moms are so pure please keep them safe," one user wrote.

"Me and all my friends in 30 years," another said.

"I kinda wanna stay on this side of TikTok," a third responded. "I don't know why but this is just so comforting."

On Nov. 5, the moms got back together with their daughters to record an eerily similar take on "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" by Dua Lipa. It already has 7 million likes, so clearly the internet has not gotten enough of this gang.

We can't wait to see what they do for the holidays.
