Mondelez Earnings inline, Revenue Beats In Q2

Investing.com - Mondelez reported second quarter earnings that matched analysts' expectations on Tuesday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $0.57 on revenue of $6.06B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $0.57 on revenue of $6.03B. That compared to EPS of $0.55 on revenue of $6.11B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.65 on revenue of $6.54B in the previous quarter.

Mondelez shares gained 4.00% to trade at $57.00 in after-hours trade following the report.

On Tuesday, Procter&Gamble reported fourth quarter EPS of $1.1 on revenue of $17.09B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $1.05 on revenue of $16.86B.
