LONDON, March 25 (IFR) - Standard Chartered (Other OTC: SCBFF - news) has hired Michael Gorriz as group chief information officer, replacing Jan Verplancke, who will retire from the firm after 11 years of service.
Gorriz will join in the third quarter and be based in Singapore, reporting directly to incoming group chief executive Bill Winters. He was previously CIO at Daimler (LSE: 0NXX.L - news) . (Reporting by Gareth Gore)
