Yahoo Finance Myleene Klass "blown away" by Simon Motson proposal
Myleene Klass has confirmed her engagement to partner Simon Motson, following his surprise proposal last month.
"We're engaged!" the musician and presenter told Hello! magazine, whilst revealing her 9-carat diamond ring.
Myleene also detailed businessman Simon's incredibly romantic proposal, which "blew her away". Simon popped the question on the fifth anniversary of their first date, on one knee in their garden shed, which he had converted into a replica of the bar where they first met on a blind date.

Parenthood and lockdown were not going to come between a good proposal for this couple.
For authenticity, Simon even borrowed the same table and chairs they'd sat on at Little House private members' club in London's Mayfair, which he decorated with candles, table mats and glassware. He also covered the shed walls with framed photos and covered the garden with fairy lights.
"I was absolutely blown away," Myleene recalled. "He even replicated the dinner we had – burger and fries, followed by cherry pie. When he got down on one knee and started fumbling around under the table, I thought he was joking. Then I thought: 'Oh my God, he's for real.' I was completely speechless."
Simon added: "It's quite a blur but I think I said something along the lines of: 'Myleene Angela Klass, will you marry me?' And I had to say it again... and I think I said it a third time. Finally she said yes and we were both in tears."

The couple welcomed their first child together, a boy named Apollo, last year. Myleene is also mum to her two daughters, Ava and Hero.
"Apollo is the god of music and science – my two passions," she said at the time. "We thought it was such a strong name and at 8lbs 5oz, he was a strong, bouncing boy."
