Neighbours youngster Nell to go missing after Dipi and Shane's news

From Digital Spy

Neighbours spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.

Neighbours' Nell Rebecchi goes missing on Australian screens next week, as she takes Dipi and Shane Rebecchi's news very hard.

For 10 Peach viewers, Dipi and Shane are back together after Shane broke things off with Amy Greenwood. The couple's reunion leads to a major decision which prompts Nell to run away (via TV Week magazine).

In upcoming scenes, Dipi (Sharon Johal) and Shane (Nicholas Coghlan) make plans to move to Sydney, where Kirsha and Jay are currently staying.

When Nell (Scarlett Anderson) finds out, she is upset.

Nell sees Dipi as a mother figure especially following her mother Sonya's death, and struggles to process the fact that she is about to leave Erinsborough.

Later, Toadie (Ryan Moloney), Dipi, and Shane discover Nell has gone missing, resulting in a frantic search for her.

The storyline appears to be setting up Dipi's exit storyline, with Johal announcing last week her exit from the show. Coghlan has yet to confirm whether he is leaving as well.

"I am so utterly grateful for the opportunity and 'break' this iconic show has given me," Johal said on Instagram. "A show that has run for 35 yrs+ requires no commentary. It speaks for itself.

"I have learnt and grown so much in this time technically, professionally, but also mentally, as this job is rewarding yet challenging in so many ways."

Bonnie Anderson, who plays Bea Nilsson, is also leaving the Ramsay Street soap. She filmed her final scenes last week.

The scenes with Nell going missing air in five weeks' time in the UK.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
