'Ginny & Georgia' star Brianne Howey reveals the 'Real Housewives' city her character would thrive in

Brianne Howey's 2021 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen revealed that she, just like many of us, is a Real Housewives guru

Netflix Ginny & Georgia star Brianne Howey's 2021 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen revealed that the actor is, just like many of us, a Real Housewives expert.

But just like we love watching the oddball behaviour on the reality TV franchise, Howey channels her inner housewife on her Netflix series, playing single-mother Georgia who uses her charisma and confidence to "play the part," so to speak, in the idyllic New England town of Wellsbury. Of course, Georgia is also trying to hide her murderous past, so the stakes are a bit higher than what we see on the Bravo reality franchise.

After watching two seasons of Ginny & Georgia, we couldn't help but wonder: What would happen if the character of Georgia could step into one of the Real Housewives cities? Luckily for us, Howey herself has some thoughts on where Georgia would best fit in.

"Remember Dallas? Obviously, she would be a shoo-in," Howey told Yahoo Canada.

While a face-off with Georgia and one of the most controversial ex-housewives, Real Housewives of Dallas' LeeAnne Locken, sounds like pure drama, Howey has another idea as well, and we absolutely agree with her.

"I would love to see her [on Atlanta]," the Ginny & Georgia star added. "I love Atlanta so much. They are so quick and funny."

"I think Georgia could spar with them."

In Season 2 of Ginny & Georgia, now on Netflix, Howey takes Georgia to a place where she is particularly uncomfortable, facing her past and having to be accountable for how her decisions have impacted her children. Just like many Real Housewives, self-awareness isn't necessarily Georgia's strong suit.

"Georgia has a lot of social and cultural blinders and I think it's really important to have these scenes where some of the self-awareness, the seeds are being planted, and we're working on it," Howey says about her character in Season 2 of the show.
