Yahoo Finance Contestants from Netflix's 'The Circle' get honest about the players who shouldn't have been in the finale
With Season 3 of Netflix's reality game show The Circle now wrapped with a $100,000 winner, some of the contestants are spilling the tea on the players that they think were least deserving of seeing the finale.
It likely won’t come as a surprise to fans of the show that Daniel was passionate about telling us that he believes Nick shouldn’t have gone to the finale.
“Nick? Are you kidding me? MIT, he thinks he's so smart then literally got clowned by two catfishes,” Daniel said. “If I hear that man literally talk about how smart he is one more time I’m going to bash my head into the screen, because I have more brain cells than you.”
“That's all I gotta say. He's a clown.”
For Ruksana, it came down to supporting the contestants who were there from the beginning, and put in more time in the game.
“With James, I just feel like he came in at the end and we've all, like the first eight, we've all kind of known each other, kind of known how we interact and [were] there from the beginning, so I do feel...it should have definitely been someone from the first eight,” Ruksana told Yahoo Canada.
“I just feel like he didn't have all the experiences that we all had to get to know each other, the different challenges, the different parts of the game. He kind of came in towards the end. So I just felt like, for me, I wish it was somebody from the first eight that had established more, in a sense, for the game.”
Michelle, the first person to leave The Circle, echoed Ruksana’s comments that people who come in later in the game shouldn't be able to make it to the end.
“The group that I came in with, someone from that group should have went through and I agree with Ruksana,...if you come in late, how are you getting that far, in that short of time, with no experience in the show,” Michelle said.
“So that was a shocker to me because when they had the finale, I had no idea who a lot of people were… I was kind of shocked at who went as far as they did.”
Without spoiling the ultimate outcome of the show, we'll just say that you may be surprised about who came out on top in the end.
