Report: Saints CB Marshon Lattimore arrested after allegedly having loaded, stolen gun

New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore was arrested Thursday night in Cleveland on suspicion of possessing a stolen gun, according to Cleveland.com.

Lattimore was booked around 10:30 p.m. in his hometown, along with three other men at the same time, per the report. Lattimore was booked into the Cuyahoga County Jail and later charged with receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony.

A Cleveland police spokeswoman told Cleveland.com that the four were pulled over after “multiple traffic violations.” Police spotted a loaded gun in the car, the spokeswoman said, and then found Lattimore with a different loaded gun that had been reported stolen from a Cleveland suburb after searching the car.

One man was arrested under suspicion of handling a gun in a car, and the other two were arrested on suspicion of having weapons under disability, per the report — meaning they possessed a gun with a felony record. The driver was also cited for driving with broken tail lights.

Lattimore, 24, racked up a career-high 62 tackles for the Saints last season and had two interceptions. The former Ohio State star is in the final year of his initial four-year, $15 million deal with the Saints after the team exercised the fifth-year option on his contract. He is set to make $10.24 million in 2021.
