NFL Week 16: Early betting lines we like

In a game of line movement and updates, the NFL betting market is a fluid one. Here are some early lines we like and will monitor throughout the week. All lines from BetMGM.

Eagles at Cowboys over 49.5: The Eagles’ secondary is still a mess, and the Cowboys have the weapons to capitalize. If Ezekiel Elliott misses the game that further boosts Dallas’ offense. And then there is Jalen Hurts. If you think the Cowboys have the players and scheme to slow him down, well, we’ve got some news for you. The Cowboys and 49ers combined for 74 points at JerryWorld on Sunday, and we can see that happening again.

Rams +1.5 at Seahawks: Yes, the Rams are coming off a brutal, confounding loss to the Jets, but that’s exactly why they offer value now. Rams coach Sean McVay has seemingly had Seattle’s number and this is the ideal bounce-back spot for Los Angeles. If the line moves toward the Rams, we’ll be looking to take them on the moneyline for added value.

Dolphins at Raiders over 47.5: This number is too low. It’s likely suppressed because we may see Marcus Mariota at quarterback for the Raiders, and the Dolphins’ skill players are struggling with injuries. But all that may not matter. Miami QB Tua Tagovailoa can still move the ball, and the Raiders’ defense is absolutely dreadful. Mariota also looked solid against the Chargers on Thursday. Factor in the fast track at Allegiant Stadium and more than 50 points should be scored.
