If you're looking for a Sunday roast recipe with a tasty, Japanese twist then Nigella Lawson's spatchcock chicken with miso and sesame seeds if the perfect suggestion.

The celebrity cook shared her recipe on Instagram, delighting fans who were eager to try it out for friends and family at home.

"#RecipeOfTheDay is a new addition to nigella.com from the pages of #AtMyTable: Spatchcock Chicken with Miso and Sesame Seeds. It’s such a favourite, and any leftovers are luscious, too!" Nigella captioned her post.

"Looks amazing @nigellalawson ! Have you tried making it in a pot to keep it moisture? Or does it keep moisture enough like this?" one fan asked.

Nigella replied: "It's covered with foil for the first 45 mins which does the trick!"

"I’m already waiting for your Christmas show," another fan anticipated.

The TV star shared the cooking method on nigella.com, and the recipe also features in her 2017 cookbook At My Table.

"The marinade infuses the chicken overnight with a deep and musky saltiness, but not spikily so; intense though miso most definitely is, it works subtly, bringing its caramelly saltiness to the meat," shared on her page.

Sounds delicious!

Nigella recently enthralled fans with her iconic dessert recipe - gin and tonic jelly, which she adorned with white currants.

"#RecipeOfTheDay is Gin and Tonic Jelly. A 21-year-old recipe of mine that continues to make me smile! And you can replace the white currants that adorn it with raspberries or any other berries of your choice," Nigella captioned her photo.

Bottoms up!
