The Air Max Pre-Day blends the aesthetic of the late 1970s and the 2020s. The simplified construction helps reduce material waste by harboring at least 20% recycled content by weight. For example, the upper is manufactured with 100% recycled polyester and the outsole approximately 13% Nike Grind Rubber.

Perhaps the most appealing feature are the unique positions that show the Air unit in a contemporary fashion. Those who own models of the Air Max 1s, Air Max 90s, Air Jordan IIIs, IVs, Vs and VIs will immediately notice and feel the fully exposed heel Air bag.

Another ingenious highlight is the supportive underfoot sensation. Dropping layers between foot and Air and placing the unit between two hard surfaces yields a more pronounced bounce with each stride. So, you're literally putting a spring in your step.
