North Sea Buzzard oilfield output back to normal

LONDON, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Output at Britain's Buzzard oilfield has returned to a normal rate of 200,000 barrels per day (bpd) or more, following its fourth outage of 2014 last week, an industry source said on Monday.

The North Sea field is the largest contributing to the Forties crude blend, the most important of the North Sea crudes underpinning the Brent crude benchmark.

Buzzard's operator, Nexen (KSE: 005720.KS - news) , said last Tuesday that output at the field had been restarted and would build up to the normal level in coming days. (Reporting by Alex Lawler; editing by Jason Neely)
