North Sea Buzzard oilfield restarts after fourth outage of 2014

LONDON, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Output at Britain's Buzzard oilfield has restarted and will return to normal levels in coming days, after an outage earlier on Monday, its operator Nexen (KSE: 005720.KS - news) said on Tuesday.

"Following a production outage at its Buzzard platform yesterday, Nexen confirms oil export has now recommenced. We expect production to stabilise and return to normal levels over the coming days," the company said.

This was the field's fourth output problem this year, according to a Reuters tally based on information from trading sources and Nexen. (Reporting by Alex Lawler; Editing by David Goodman)
