North Sea Crude-Ekofisk nears two-month lows as light sweets buckle

LONDON, Sept 28 (Reuters) - * North Sea Ekofisk crude oil differentials fell to their weakest since early August on Wednesday, in line with a decline in lighter, sweeter grades around the Atlantic Basin.

* In the West African (Stuttgart: W25.SG - news) market, Nigerian grades have been depressed by the impending return of flows from the Qua Iboe and Forcados streams, while in the Med, CPC blend and Azeri light, two close competitors, have seen little trade.

* In flows, Glencore (Frankfurt: 8GC.F - news) 's shipping arm has booked two VLCCs to load Forties at Hound Point. The Marbat, which had originally been booked by Vitol to sail to South Korea, from which the trading house has sold cargoes of Forties, is scheduled to load in the second week in October.

* The second is the Daba, which has been tentatively chartered to load at the same time, although the terminal at Hound Point can only accommodate one supertanker at a time, each taking roughly 60 hours to load.

WINDOW SUMMARY

* No deals were reported in the daily window.

* Statoil (LSE: 0M2Z.L - news) offered a cargo of Oseberg for loading Oct (HKSE: 3366-OL.HK - news) . 21-23 at a premium of 65 cents to dated Brent. The quality premium for October-loading cargoes of Oseberg is 59 cents.

* Vitol offered a cargo of Ekofisk for loading Oct. 16-18 at a premium of 10 cents to dated Brent.

* Shell (LSE: RDSB.L - news) bid for a cargo of Ekofisk for loading Oct. 14-18 at a discount of 5 cents to dated Brent. The quality premium for October-loading cargoes of Ekofisk is 32 cents, which, once applied, makes Ekofisk the lowest-priced BFOE crude.

* Unipec offered a cargo of Forties for loading Oct. 16-18 at a discount of 15 cents to dated Brent.
