North Sea Crude-Ekofisk weakens on lower offers
LONDON, Sept 22 (Reuters) - * Ekofisk differentials weakened on Thursday due to lower offers, making the grade the cheapest benchmark grade and therefore sets dated Brent.
* Forties has been supported by tighter supply as a result of planned maintenance at the Buzzard field.
* No indications were seen on other benchmark grades.
WINDOW SUMMARY
* Ekofisk: Total (LSE: 524773.L - news) sold to Shell (LSE: RDSB.L - news) a cargo loading on Oct (HKSE: 3366-OL.HK - news) . 8-10 at dated Brent plus 55 cents, down 10 cents from a bid on Wednesday. Another cargo was offered at dated Brent plus 45 cents.
The offer implies a value of around dated Brent plus 8 cents when applying the 32-cent Platts quality premium for October cargoes. (Reporting by Alex Lawler; Editing by Grge Mahlich)
