North Sea Crude-Forties, Brent fall further

LONDON, June 14 (Reuters) - * Forties and Brent differentials declined further on Tuesday, reflecting a lull in demand and ample supply.

* Total (LSE: 524773.L - news) was again offering cargoes of Forties from floating storage, without finding buyers - such offers are often seen as a sign of a weak market.

* Ekofisk was also offered lower and failed to sell, making it the cheapest benchmark grade.

WINDOW SUMMARY:

* Brent: Glencore (Xetra: A1JAGV - news) offered a cargo loading on June 28-30 at dated Brent minus 55 cents, down 25 cents from its offer on Monday.

* Forties: Total offered a Forties for loading June 25-30 from the VLCC Maran Thetis at a discount of $1.60 to cash August BFOE, the same as on Monday.

* Statoil (LSE: 0M2Z.L - news) offered a Forties loading on July 3-5 at dated Brent minus 25 cents, 5 cents lower than on Monday.

* Ekofisk: Statoil offered a cargo loading on July 1-3 at dated Brent parity. Monday's offer was at a 40-cent premium.

The Ekofisk quality premium for July is about 60 cents, so this makes Ekofisk the cheapest benchmark grade and the one which sets dated Brent. (Reporting by Alex Lawler; editing by Adrian Croft)
