North Sea Crude-Forties diffs hit lowest level since late 2018

LONDON, March 18 (Reuters) - North Sea Forties and Oseberg crude differentials fell on one deal and a lower offer on Wednesday, with Forties hitting its steepest discount to dated Brent since late 2018 and Oseberg since July. * A glut of unsold, high-quality Nigerian crude has built up because of the coronavirus outbreak's impact on demand and ample alternative supplies, putting extreme downward pressure on prices. A lack of demand has also depressed North Sea crude differentials, though companies say they are not struggling to sell. PLATTS WINDOW * Forties: Total sold to Vitol at dated Brent minus $1 for loading April 4-6. * Oseberg: Equinor offered at dated Brent plus 45 cents for loading April 7-9.
