North Sea Crude-Forties edges up, Oct programmes in focus

LONDON, Aug 26 (Reuters) -

* North Sea Forties edged higher on Friday as lower than expected production lent support.

* A number of September-loading Forties cargoes have had their loading dates delayed, and at least two cargoes have been dropped from the programme. This is because some fields have returned later than expected from maintenance, traders said.

* The October loading programme for Oseberg emerged, scheduling six cargoes. Programmes for the other benchmark grades are expected to be issued early next week.

WINDOW SUMMARY

* Forties: Vitol offered barrels on a ship-to-ship transfer basis from the Marbat loading Sept. 11-16 at dated Brent plus 20 cents. Shell (LSE: RDSB.L - news) bid for a Sept. 7-9 cargo at dated Brent plus 5 cents. These put Forties up a little from Thursday's value of around parity with dated Brent.

* Ekofisk: Total (LSE: 524773.L - news) bid for a Sept. 20-22 cargo at dated Brent plus 30 cents, suggesting no change in value from Thursday when a cargo was offered at dated plus 35 cents. (Reporting by Alex Lawler; editing by David Clarke)
