NORWAY GAS-Exports rise to highest levels since April
* Exports to Europe total 306 mcm/day
* Flows to Britain rise by 7 mcm/day
OSLO, June 30 (Reuters) - Norwegian pipeline gas exports to
Europe rose on Tuesday as the country's second-largest field,
Ormen Lange, raised output, data from gas system operator Gassco
showed.
Pipeline gas supplies to Europe were running at 306 cubic
metres per day (mcm/day) by around 0700 GMT, the highest level
since the beginning of April, and up 11 mcm from volumes
delivered on Monday.
The Shell-operated Ormen Lange was restarted on
Monday after annual maintenance and is expected to reach its
full production capacity of around 65 mcm/day by Wednesday.
Production capacity at Norway's Nyhamna gas plant, which
processes gas from Ormen Lange, is expected to be reduced by 5
mcm/day on Tuesday due to an unexpected outage.
The following table shows Norwegian gas pipeline flows
measured in mcm/day and changes from the previous session's
delivered volumes:
Destination Real time Pvs business Change
day (mcm)
Britain 83 76 7
Germany & Netherlands 149 148 1
France 34 36 -2
Belgium 40 35 5
Total (Swiss: FP.SW - news) 306 295 11
NOTE (Stockholm: NOTE.ST - news) : Real-time gas export figures are based on gas fed into
the system at a certain time and calculated as a daily average.
Levels can vary throughout the day as producers adjust the
amount of gas they export, according to changing nominations, or
orders, from customers.
Volumes for the previous business day show delivered gas.
