NORWAY GAS-Flows to Britain ease slightly
* Norwegian gas exports total 339 mcm/day
* Supplies to Britain at 102 mcm/day
OSLO, March 18 (Reuters) - Norwegian gas exports to Europe
eased slightly on Wednesday from the previous day's average on
lower deliveries to Britain, data from gas system operator
Gassco showed.
Pipeline gas flows from Norway to Europe were running at 339
million cubic metres (mcm) per day by 0840 GMT, down 4 mcm/day
down from Tuesday, and off this year's daily peak of 357 mcm/day
hit in February.
An ongoing outage at the Gudrun field reducing output by 5.7
mcm/day is expected to last until March 24.
Norway's Statoil (Xetra: 675213 - news) has discovered more gas near the
Aasta Hansteen field which is expected to start production in
the fourth quarter of 2017, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate
said.
The field in the Norwegian Sea will deliver gas to the
onshore Nyhamna plant.
The following table shows Norwegian pipeline gas flows,
measured in mcm/day, compared with the previous session's
average:

Britain 102 106 -4
Germany & Netherlands 141 140 1
France 54 53 1

Levels can vary throughout the day as producers adjust the
amount of gas they export, according to changing nominations, or
orders, from customers.
