Nurse: Serge Ibaka could return to lineup this weekend following ankle sprain

The Raptors may see some injury woes relieved very soon as head coach Nick Nurse shared that centre Serge Ibaka might be available to return as early as this weekend.

Ibaka suffered a sprained right ankle on November 8th against the New Orleans Pelicans, the same game that teammate Kyle Lowry suffered a fracture in his left thumb. The two have been sidelined since the midway point of that game, and the Raptors have gone 4-2 in their absence.

Ibaka has averaged 14 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in eight games with Toronto this season. The Raptors will be on the road to play the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night.
