Obama photographer mocks Trump's viral handwritten note

Former White House photographer Pete Souza took to Instagram to poke fun at President Trump's handwritten note by sharing notes from former President Obama.

Souza showed the stark comparison by first sharing the now-viral photo of Trump's handwritten notes written in thick, black marker that he referred to while speaking to reporters about the public impeachment hearings.

"I want nothing. I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo. Tell Zellinsky to do the right thing," the letter reads in part.

The next photo is one Souza took of Obama's notes when he was in office written on lined, yellow paper filled with over 30 lines of small print, most of which can't be read from the photo.

"Great storytelling image by Mark Wilson of Getty Images showing comrade minus’s handwritten remarks today," Souza wrote in the caption. "Swipe to see an almost identical image I made of President Obama a few years ago.⁣"

The Obama photographer often resurfaces photos from the Obama administration to contrast Trump, who he refers to as "comrade minus" and his administration.

Earlier this week, he hit back at White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, who claimed Obama officials left notes saying "you will fail" in offices for Trump aides, with a photo of Obama in the oval office.

"[Obama] concluded his note with these words," Souza said. "'Michelle and I wish you and Melania the very best as you embark on this great adventure, and know that we stand ready to help in any ways we can. Good luck and Godspeed…'"
