Weeknight dinner just got easier.

When it comes to weeknight cooking, we’re not always looking to make the fanciest meals. That means that if there’s a shortcut available, I’ll probably take it. So long as I have a side of roasted veggies with it, I consider it a solid weeknight meal. Old El Paso has a new line that’s perfect for those nights when you don’t think of what to make for dinner until it’s actually dinnertime.

Old El Paso Just Released a Variety of New Soups

The Tex-Mex food brand may have already earned a spot in your pantry with its taco kits and sauces, seasonings, and canned beans, but now it's venturing into complete meal territory by launching a new line of soups.

Five new soup varieties are available, all featuring Tex-Mex flavors. The flavors are Chipotle Corn Chowder Soup, Chicken Cheese Enchilada-Style Soup, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Mexican-Style Chicken & Rice Soup, and Jalapeño Chicken Noodle Soup.

While a can of soup is certainly a complete meal, Old El Paso also released a new cornbread baking mix that you can make as a side. The new mix is available in two flavors: Southwest Style and sweet Cinnamon Churro.

If you want to try the soups, you’ll have to plan a trip to Walmart. The soups are a Walmart exclusive, and they’ll set you back $4.32 per can. If you’re hoping to try the cornbread, it’s available at select retailers now for $3.49. Don’t worry—it may be harder to find the cornbread mix now, but it will be available nationwide this summer.
