Ole Miss said in a school release Saturday, per the Clarion Ledger:

"We take these charges very seriously and will allow the legal system to run its course before making further determinations on his status in our program.”

Williams was taken into custody at approximately 9:39 a.m. on Friday and released at 2:42 p.m., per the Ledger. He was charged with sexual battery and issued a $25,000 bond. There was no more information from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department other than those details listed on the police report.
