Olivia Ponton is a model and social media influencer. She’s got millions of followers thanks to her lifestyle content and is a member of the TikTok collective Hype House.
Ponton currently has 2.9 million Instagram followers and 5.7 million TikTok followers.
Who is Oliva Ponton?
Ponton was born in Florida on May 30, 2002. She’s 18 years old and began posting on Instagram in 2016.
“My Instagram grew very fast around last fall, due to me traveling quite often. I joined TikTok around November and my dance videos really took off!” she told Teen Magazine.
She’s a model who loves to travel
Ponton is signed with Wilhemina models, where her bio states she has visited 15 countries and even attended school in Costa Rica and Nicaragua where she taught English.
She didn’t get to be her model height until she was a sophomore in high school
Ponton is 5’9″ but she was shorter before her growth spurts in freshman and sophomore year.
“A lot of people suggested to me that I should model,” Ponton told Teen Magazine. “I went to Miami Swim Week and visited some brands and I had so many people asking which agency I was signed with. That cemented my decision to give modeling a shot, so I snapped some photos of myself, which was a very casual process. […] Wilhelmina Models was so excited to work with me.”
Ponton ran track in high school
She is also an athlete having done track, waterskiing and yoga. Ponton was a member of the track team at Naples High School where she competed in the 4×100 relay and the 60-meter dash.
She dated fellow influencer Kio Cyr
Fans were excited to see Ponton and Cyr together but their relationship only lasted from April 2020 until June.
“Some beautiful things come to an end. I forever wish you the best. Thank you for everything, I appreciate you always,” Ponton wrote in an Instagram Story that announced their breakup.
“You’ll always have my heart,” Cyr tweeted. “I wish you the best, angel.”
She may have revealed she’s a part of the LGBTQIA+ community
On Mar. 11, 2021, Ponton did a TikTok lip-sync that implied she was attracted to women.
“I am not gay (well, first of all, ehhh) but let’s be precise,” she lip-synced. “Cause if she pretty then watch it cause I’mma be f***ing your wife.”
Many people in the comments wondered if this was her way of coming out.
“Wait, gurl did you just come out,” someone wrote.
“Win for the girls,” another said.
“Are you telling us something,” a user commented.
