‘For the ones experiencing infertility, miscarriage, and childloss this Mother’s Day’: Woman’s emotional tribute touches millions on TikTok

A woman’s touching tribute to the children no longer with her is pulling heartstrings around the world — and helping to put the “1 in 4” movement on the map.

Popular TikToker @celinaspookyboo gained over 6.7 million views, 1.4 million likes, and nearly 20,000 comments when she posted the emotional video to her account.

Now, much like the mom who helped bring attention to how many women’s issues go undiagnosed at the doctor’s office, Celina’s video is helping to spread an important message — one that some women might be very thankful to hear on Mother’s Day.

4 mortgage truths that may surprise you

Celina’s caption reads, “For the ones experiencing infertility, miscarriage and childloss this Mother’s Day. I know the silence is deafening.”

In her video, Celina quietly honors the two babies she’s lost, who are now remembered in a memorial forest in her town, where trees are planted as a “living memorial to the memory of our loved ones.”

As she kneels by the tiny pine tree that stands in honor of her babies, Celina whispers to the camera, “I hear you” — as though speaking to anyone watching who might share her pain.

In the caption, Celina tagged the video, “IAmOneInFour,” a reference to how many pregnancies end in loss.

According to the National Infertility Association, 1 in 8 couples in America struggle to conceive — and 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss.

While National Infertility Awareness Week occurs in April, Mother’s Day is the perfect time to shed light on the realities of trying to conceive — something millions of couples struggle with.

‘Thank you, from one angel mom to another…’

Based on the comments in Celina’s video, her TikTok spoke to people around the world.

“I thought I was the only one. I go visit my baby in the woods every Mother’s Day,” one user shared.

“Both my miscarriages ended up happening during Mother’s Day,” another user shared. “It’s hard to lose [a baby], but you’re never alone in the loss.”

“Thank you, from one angel mom to another,” wrote another user.

“So sorry for the loss of your babies. I am also 1 in 4,” commented another user. “I was thankfully blessed with my rainbow baby this January. Prayers to you Celina!! 🌈💜”

Hopefully, as science continues to make improvements and advancements in the treatment of infertility, the “1 in 4” statistic will one day be a thing of the past.
