Oramed Pharmaceuticals posts loss of $2.6 million in 1st quarter

JERUSALEM (AP) _ Oramed Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ORMP) on Wednesday reported a loss of $2.6 million in its fiscal first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Jerusalem-based company said it had a loss of 20 cents.

The drug maker posted revenue of $610,000 in the period.

Oramed shares have risen nearly 7 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 9 percent in the last 12 months.
