Oreo sushi is a thing now and tbh we want to eat it *all*

When you think of sushi, you're probably picturing tasty avocado and cucumber maki, a bit of salmon nigiri, and of course the elite combo that is soy sauce with wasabi. What you probably didn't picture was Oreo sushi, 'cause let's be real, why would you ever think of Oreo sushi?

But it seems over in the sometimes-strange-sometimes-delicous corner of the internet that is Recipe TikTok, one user decided that Oreo sushi should in fact very much be a thing.

Sienna Sweets, who has 200K followers on the app, posted the two-ingredient recipe earlier this month, and it's safe to say TikTok has gone wild for it. The clip has been viewed over 4.2 million times, and has over 690K likes.

"This is the only sushi I will eat," one viewer commented, "My kind of sushi," said another.

The recipe itself is simple enough, start off by removing all the Oreo creme, then add the cookie bits to a sandwich bag, crush, and add dash of milk. Lay out some cling film and dollop on the paste-like mixture, topped with another layer of cling film. Use a rolling pin to flatten out the cookie mixture, then smooth the Oreo creme over the top. Finally, use the cling film to roll the ingredients into a sushi-style shape, then cut into bite sized chunks.

You can dip the Oreo sushi into a chocolate sauce à la Sienna, or just inhale them all as they are.

Not everyone was as impressed with the idea of Oreo sushi as we were though. "It’s just Oreos 10 steps harder," one TikTok user commented, while another said "I tried it, it’s really sweet and it kinda tastes like a squishy texture."

BRB, just off to make some Oreo sushi.
