PARIS (Reuters) - French care home company Orpea, at the centre of a major scandal over alleged patient mistreatment and financial wrongdoing, said on Wednesday an audit by law firms did not substantiate some of the allegations against it but still found "failures and misconduct."

The 62-page report published after the audit by Grant Thornton and Alvarez & Marsal confirmed some of the allegations made against the company, including falsely declared staff, Orpea said.
