After spending months at home, it seems that the impending warm weather has made everyone eager to get outside — including Outdoor Voices.
Today, March 11, the activewear brand launched a brand new Hike Collection that is perfect for almost any adventure that you get into this summer.
Outdoor Voices’ tag line is “Doing Things,” so don’t be intimidated and think that the new Hike Collection is only for those scaling rock walls and hiking 20 miles at a time. This collection has something for everyone, from novices to professionals. Plus, the whole line is available in colors that look like they come straight from the desert.
The new launch includes the Rectrek 3″ Short, the Rectrek Zip-Off Pant and a fresh color for the brand, eucalyptus.
The Rectrek 3″ Short has plenty of pockets, including a zippered back one to keep keys and other valuables safe. The shorts are made with the brand’s water-resistant and durable TerraStretch fabric that makes them ideal for warm days on the trail.
The Rectrek Zip-Off Pant is also made of TerraStretch fabric and is convertible into shorts, thanks to the mid-thigh zipper. And once you zip off the bottom portion of the pants, you can store them in its own packable cargo pocket for safekeeping.
Both pairs of pants also have an updated fit. According to OV: “We heard your feedback and adjusted the fit of the waistband to include a snap closure, zipper fly, and removable nylon webbing belt.”

The Hike Collection also features the new eucalyptus color story. The refreshing shade is currently available in a crop top, tank top, short sleeve top and pair of leggings.
