You don’t have to be an athlete to know the power of a heating pad. For muscle spasms, cramps and joint pain, it can truly work wonders on soothing body aches. And while you can find one just about anywhere, Amazon shoppers can’t stop raving about this one from Mighty Bliss.

With over 47,000 ratings and and 23,000 five-star reviews, it’s definitely one of the most trusted heating pads floating around the internet.

So, what’s the reason for all the hype? For starters, it’s extra-large. The pad measures 12 by 24 inches, which makes it perfect for covering up larger parts of your body (a.k.a your lower back, legs, neck and shoulders). Also, the micro-plush fibers are super soft and great for retaining heat. Plus, it even has an automatic shut-off feature for added safety.

The pad comes with three adjustable settings and takes just seconds to heat up, according to the product description.

Now, aside from the cozy material and quick warm-up time, shoppers also mentioned the pad’s durability and effect on helping reduce pain.

One five-star reviewer wrote: “This heating pad sure hits the spot. [I’ve] been having chronic pain in my lower back for too long now (herniated disc). [I] couldn’t stand, couldn’t sit, couldn’t walk, couldn’t anything. This pad definitely offers significant relief.”

Another shopper explained how consistent the heat flow was and how flexible the pad was for tending to body pain.

“The size is perfect for wrapping around a thigh to calm muscle cramps to reducing shoulder, back and buttocks pain,” they commented. “The temperature controls are reliable and very sufficient. They are responsive and hold the temperature setting constant.”

But despite mostly positive reviews, several shoppers did note some issues managing the temperature. However, this didn’t appear to be a setback for the majority of shoppers.
