Many subscribe to the age-old adage that there is “nothing new under the sun” — and when it comes to cookware basics, that may be the case. However, when staple pieces are reinvented, it can be magical.

Shoppers and cooking enthusiasts believe that the Always Pan by Our Place matches this philosophy, largely due to its 8-in-1 functionality. Additionally, the best-selling pan, which has been sold out for months and once had a 30,000-person waitlist, is finally back in stock. In another rare occurrence, it’s $30 off until October 15, 2020 during the site’s Always Pan sale.

With only one day remaining on this offer, shoppers can get the viral multi-functional Always Pan for $115 with the code “SHOPSMALL.”

Before getting into the cookware brand’s hero product, here’s some background on the fairly new company. Former Malala Fund co-founder Shiza Shahid launched Our Place to inspire families of all cultures and backgrounds to come together over home-cooked meals.

Our Place launched the Always Pan as their first product, which performs the tasks of at least eight traditional cookware pieces. The super chic pan, which comes in four colors, includes a custom-fit steamer basket and a wooden spoon/nesting spatula that neatly tucks into a space carved into the handle. Take a look at all of its functions and design charm below:

The Always Pan is dishwasher safe and compatible with all cooktops. It’s also Teflon, PFAS and PTFE-free, featuring a heavy-gauge cast aluminum core to guarantee quick and even heat distribution. The premium cookware piece also comes in five color options: char, spice, steam, sage (launched on Earth Day 2020) and the newest addition, lavender. The Always Pan sale includes all colors.

Shoppers also have been singing the Always Pan’s praises, with several calling it the “perfect” cooking essential.

“This is my new favorite pan. It is the perfect width and depth, and I really love how lightweight it is,” one shopper gushed. “So far it has only needed a quick wash with the sponge that was kindly provided and nothing has stuck to it. It also looks great on my stove!”

Validating the company’s claim that the pan is fully multi-functional, another shopper wrote, “I love this pan, it is perfect. I threw away all of my other pans. You can do basically everything in this pan. It’s so easy to clean and I love the little spatula that comes with [it]. Buying one as a gift for my brother!”
