A while back, we discovered that Jaffa Cake Gin exists, and our lives have never been the same since.
But then we found out that Jaffa Cake Rum and Jaffa Cake Vodka exist too!
But wait… there’s more! Passion Fruit Jaffa Cake Gin has just been released. What a time to be alive.
Yup – the makers of this gin have taken inspiration from that new flavour of Jaffa Cakes that came out recently. And we think it’s going to taste like an absolute dream. Especially made into a passion fruit martini as suggested. So, here’s how to make one for yourself and a friend:
Ingredients (makes 2):
2 ripe passion fruits, halved
60ml Passion Fruit Jaffa Cake Gin
30ml Passoa
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp sugar syrup
Prosecco, to serve
Method:
Scoop out the centre of one of the passionfruit, add to a shaker filled with ice.
Add all other ingredients to the shaker (excluding Prosecco). Shake well and serve into two chilled martini glasses then top with Prosecco. Place half a passionfruit on top for garnish.
According to the company that makes this tasty beverage, on your palette you’ll experience “chocolate prominently, which is swiftly followed by a heaping helping of passion fruit juiciness. More juniper notes offer a solid backbone, with citrus oils.”
