PBF, Shell prep Louisiana refineries to keep running in storm -sources

HOUSTON, Oct (Shenzhen: 000069.SZ - news) 5 (Reuters) - PBF Energy (NYSE: PBF - news) and Royal Dutch Shell Plc were preparing their Louisiana refineries to keep running during Tropical Storm Nate, which is forecast to make landfall in that state on Sunday, said sources familiar with plant operations on Thursday.

Preparations were under way at PBF (Taiwan OTC: 1760.TWO - news) 's Chalmette, Louisiana, refinery and at Shell (LSE: RDSB.L - news) 's Louisiana plants in Convent and Norco, the sources said.
