Pembina Pipeline (PBA) Misses Q4 Earnings and Revenue Estimates

Pembina Pipeline (PBA) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.16 per share, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.42 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.50 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of -61.90%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this oil and gas transportation and services company would post earnings of $0.43 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.50, delivering a surprise of 16.28%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates two times.

Pembina Pipeline, which belongs to the Zacks Oil and Gas - Production and Pipelines industry, posted revenues of $1.33 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 3.25%. This compares to year-ago revenues of $1.31 billion. The company has not been able to beat consensus revenue estimates over the last four quarters.
