People can't stop cringing at AJ and Curtis Pritchard's acting in Hollyoaks

AJ and Curtis Pritchard have just made their joint acting debut on Hollyoaks, as a pair of brothers named Marco and Jacob. And while the pair have both been involved in the industry for some time people are finding this particular performance far too cringey to ignore.

As professional dancers AJ and Curtis have made multiple TV appearances over the years, from Strictly Come Dancing to Ru Paul's Drag Race, and of course Curtis appeared on the fifth season of Love Island back in 2019. But this is the pair's first foray into acting, and they've had some... surprising results.

AJ Pritchard actually began his role as Marco in Hollyoaks back in March of this year but it wasn't until younger brother Curtis joined the cast to play Marco's brother Jacob that people really got talking about the brother's new acting venture.

One scene in particular has been doing the rounds on social media. It shows Marco and Jacob meeting up for a clandestine conversation in the local park, where they discuss their plan to mess with Marco's rival Trish Minniver. To be frank, it is spectacular, and there's a real pantomime villain vibe to the pair discussing their dastardly plot in a kid's playground. And safe to say, the internet loved it.

Okay, so it's not exactly a Meryl Streep performance, but fair play to the Pritchards for brightening up everyone's week.
