Percy Pig comes to life in new M&S Christmas advert

·1-min read

Marks & Spencer has released two Christmas adverts this year: one showcasing its festive food and gifts, and the other highlighting its clothing range.

In the food advert, the iconic Percy Pig (who turns 30 next year) is brought to life for the very first time. In the animated visual, Percy, voiced by Tom Holland, is awakened in the dead of night by the magic of the Christmas fairy played by Dawn French. Percy then explores the Stratford Foodhall to discover the delectable M&S Food offering for Christmas, which includes the Collection Golden Blond Christmas Pudding and the Delicate Smoked Salmon.

M&S has confirmed that there will be a further seven adverts showing Percy exploring different food products, so new visuals will be released from now until New Year.

And, Percy Pig fans will be pleased to know that M&S is launching the full Christmas gift shop in-store and online, which includes a 'Percy World' section in celebration of the Food advert.

Elsewhere, the Marks & Spencer clothing advert brings to life a whimsical musical world with the star of the ad, former Victoria's Secret model Madisyn Ritland, dancing through the iconic moments of Christmas – from shopping for presents to having fun in family PJs.

The advert is a continuation of the 'Anything but Ordinary' campaign that M&S launched for Autumn/Winter.

Take a look at all the Christmas adverts as they are released here.
