Phillip Schofield has confirmed the return of The Cube.
The This Morning presenter took to his Instagram story on Sunday (July 5) to confirm the interactive reality game show will return following its disappearance from screens in 2015, with a post encouraging people to apply for the forthcoming series.
"Yes!!!" Phillip wrote.
"Game on! Can you Beat the Cube?"
Originally, The Cube ran on ITV from 2009 - 2015 and saw contestants complete a series of mental and physical challenges inside a Perspex cube.
The new series is looking for "teams of two people from the same household/household support bubble".
Deadline is also reporting that ITV is "set to significantly increase the potential prize money in the reboot".
The original run was hosted by Phillip Schofield for its entirety and judging by his Instagram post, it looks like he will be back.
Nonetheless, his involvement has yet to be confirmed.
Phillip's post about The Cube follows him previously admitting to "kicking off" just before going live on This Morning.
It also follows the BBC responding to claims it is trying to poach Phil from ITV when his contract runs out at the end of the year.
Do you have what it takes to beat The Cube? If so, get applying!
The Cube will return to screens in 2020.
