Yahoo Finance Phillip Schofield says his first COVID jab 'couldn't have been any easier'
Phillip Schofield has said his coronavirus vaccination "didn't hurt at all" as he revealed he'd had his first dose.
The 58-year-old This Morning host shared a picture of himself getting the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID vaccine on Instagram with a caption saying it "couldn't have been any easier".
Schofield told co-host Holly Willoughby: “Booking online with the NHS app is so simple, I picked my time, picked my day, went along and had the vaccine. The team was absolutely delightful, and it didn’t even hurt at all."

He added: "I feel great!"

Schofield marvelled: "I was just thinking, we've sat here right from the very start of all this and who'd have thought a year later, because of the miraculous way our scientists works, yesterday I had my vaccine!"
Willoughby, 40, said: "I remember that time when we were saying, 'The only way out of this is to get a vaccine, we know these take 10 years to develop, and oh my God, we're never going to get out of this!' It might even be under a year from when we were having these conversations. And you're done!"
As Schofield's vaccination card was shown, he said: "That’s number one done, I had the Oxford one, waiting for the second one to be filled in, in about 12 weeks' time.
“My arm doesn't hurt. The whole experience was efficient and friendly, don’t be nervous."
Willoughby said: "Congratulations! I can't wait to get mine done."
Lorraine Kelly, 61, proudly revealed earlier this week that she had been vaccinated.
But fans were confused when they spotted that her vaccination card revealed her real name – Lorraine Smith.
The COVID-19 vaccination is currently being offered to people over 55, as well as the clinically vulnerable, frontline health workers, care workers and those with learning disabilities.

Celebrities who have already had the vaccine include Sir Elton John, Sir Michael Caine, Dame Joan Collins, Sir Ian McKellen, The Wanted's Tom Parker, 32, who is undergoing treatment for a brain tumour, and Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden, 30, who has Crohn's disease.
